The first electric utility vehicle? Possibly since it was created and operational in 2010, far preceding even the next electric side-by-side or UTV. This is one of the first concepts at a performance, all electric utility vehicle with extreme off-road capabilities. eUTV boasted a 3-week build time, sub $12k budget, selectable 2-4wd transfer case, and a whopping 40HP electric DC motor. Solid axles with triangulated 4-bar linkage suspension, paired with tunable fully-adjustable coil-over shocks and 4-wheel disc brakes gave this eUTV unrivaled performance, perfect for agriculture!

Society of Automotive Engineering Baja competition vehicle, or petri dish r&d platform for future driveline and suspension design? Baja UTV-2 was the lightest baja of its time, complete with adjustable air shocks, tunable CVT transmission, aluminum motor mounts and a carbon fiber / tubular body. Baja UTV-2 was capable of speeds over 50Mph, huge air, and drifts like a tuned sports car.

Baja UTV-1 says it all. This crawler sized single seater UTV is what put Hawaii back on the map for competitive engineering and design. over 2 feet of suspension articulation, near 40Mph top speed, tubular aerospace frame, and an indestructible suspension system, this UTV completed all competitive tasks thrown at it... effortlessly. This UTV is still in use at a farm in Hawaii moving crops, years later as a testament to build quality.
EV Charging Stations

Working from an idea and shoebox model, we were able to make this dream a reality. Helping to launch a future company, prototyping and delivery of the first batch of proof-of-concept EV charging stations delivered in short order. These stations were designed, tested and manufactured in small batch quantities then installed and tested around Hawaii and Arizona as the first Free public charging stations ever! The stations were engineered for the harshest environment, able to handle issues with corrosion, vandalism, serviceability and of coarse safety with high voltage chargers. Spec'd for a 5 year life cycle, these units are still in operation today 7+ years later. Under budget, and on-time this idea to reality build led to future startup Volta.

Designed to fit in the trunk of a car and power a job site, this portable power system packs some serious power at over 3.5 Kw capacity and expandable. New take on an old concept of portable power, this system can accept a variety of power inputs from wind turbines, solar, motor, hydro, etc. and can convert outputs to most any useable power from USB 5vDC to 220vAC.

This portable charging station was completely off-grid generating power with its ulta-high efficiency solar panels and optional VAWT. This may have been of the first off-grid solar EV charging station.
